Not So Fabulous February … I Own You This Year!
Ahhh, February, the month of hearts and flowers. Right? Or is it the month of slushy, cold snow, grey days, and that horrible holiday that always seems to makes you feel less loved than you’re supposed to. No matter how you look at it, February isn’t the most popular month for many people. Me included. That’s why we have to look for the small things in life that bring a little sunshine to our day and make us feel like we’re the most fabulous person around.
Instead of waiting around for your special someone or that amazing someone to-be-named-at-a-later-date to create a magical night of romance on Valentine’s Day, create the moment yourself. And, you know that friend who always seems to be looking for love? Send her a personalized note on V-Day that makes her realize that, with a friend like you, who needs a guy anyway?
Or if you want to be all about YOU this month, that’s okay too. Purchase a fabulous bauble at a killer price. Mark your calendar for a night of early spring indulgence. Or browse facebook with reckless abandon reconnecting with old friends, learning about some fabulous new places and worthy causes, and making some new friends along the way. Put on your best gala dress and walk the red carpet on Emmy night or just make it a t-shirt instead!
After all, it’s February and there’s not much else to do anyway. So take control of February this year! Say it out loud ladies … “February, you will not make me feel like crap this year! “ Create your own romance and love the one you’re with. Tell a friend that if she were a guy, you’d totally be into her. Treat yourself to that rare indulgence. Plan to attend some incredible events. And start making plans for a fabulous spring … because February only has 28 days for a reason!

Facebook Does Well By Doing Good!
Feeling guilty about all the time you spend on
facebook these days? Relief is here! By now you all
know that I love facebook. It’s my personal pet rock
of 2009 and a marketer’s dream come true. Savvy
businesses that want to create a dialogue with their
consumers are also tapping into facebook. But some
companies are doing it better than others. Take
CambridgeSide Galleria for example. Their facebook
page – which launched this week – is chocking up
fans to benefit a great cause.
Strong Women, Strong Girls builds upon the lessons learned from strong women throughout history to help girls and young women become strong women themselves. Isn’t that awesome? CambridgeSide Galleria surely agrees. So they are donating $1 for every new fan that joins their facebook page by Valentine’s Day until they reach $5,000. So click here and log on ladies to become a fan of CambridgeSide Galleria. Then roam guilt-free knowing that you’re benefitting a tremendously good cause!

food, glamorous gift bags, entertainment, and the Academy Awards® broadcast on huge video
screens straight from the red carpet! So ditch the pjs and
